I like when we can be fans of things together
Having something silly to be excited about together can make dating feel easy in the best way.
I do not think couples need identical interests. Having separate things you love is healthy and interesting.
But I really enjoy finding the overlap. A movie, a character, a game, a song or even some completely random obsession can give two people another way to connect.
There is something nice about seeing something during the day and immediately knowing exactly who you want to send it to.
Shared interests are not the foundation of a relationship, but they can make everyday life a lot more fun.
